| Mature Outlook is a group especially designed to cater for the needs of the over 55's.
For many years Lightbowne Evangelical Church has had a Ladies fellowship on Wednesday afternoons and we are trying to develop the group so that men feel welcome, that's why the name has changed to "Mature Outlook".
The format of the group is changing to bring a more informal structure, giving people time to share what's happening in their lives, meeting their needs and the concerns of others.
We have a luncheon club once a term, but would like to make this a more regular feature, as well as having community speakers, such as the police, to keep us up to date.
There are regular Bible studies, prayer, sharing and worship.
Not only do we seek to meet the needs of the group but are looking to reach out to met the needs of others. |
